The 9 Month Flu!

It's official, I have the 9 month flu! I am 10 weeks along and have not left the bathroom floor in what feels like a month! A few days ago, Conrad and I were able to see our baby and hear the heartbeat! It was amazing! I have now been given some medicine from my awesome doctor to help me feel better. It is working great!! Our new baby is due to join us on September 5th!! Can't wait (although I am extremely terrified of labor and the delivery)!

Whew!

A little while ago, I gave my nephew his first much needed haircut! This was NOT an easy task. Kale would NOT hold still. My sister had to put him on her lap and hold his head still. My sister-in-law, Ali, also had to help with holding him still. The hair cut had no rhyme or reason to it, I just kept cutting as fast as I could!

I actually think that it turned out super cute! Good thing, because it was a lot of work!

A Hot Lava Christmas

Last year my family started the tradition of spending the weekend before Christmas in a cute little cottage at Lava Hot Springs. What could be better than a weekend filled with family, presents, food, beautiful scenery and hot springs?
My mom, my brother, my dad holding my nephew, and my sister-in-law
My niece, Ady, holding her new doll.
Me and Conrad hanging with Ady.
My mom and my nieces--Ady and Tori
My dad and my nephew--Kale. Best buds!
Conrad, me and my niece--Alyssa.
My brother, Kory, came up with an idea for a "dollar store" gift exchange. Before coming to Lave, we all had to go to the dollar store and choose a gift that represented a past memory. He got the idea from a Christmas party at a trade show exhibits company. During the exchange you had to guess who's gift you chose and what the memory was. It was a lot of fun!

Alyssa modeling her mom's hat.
Little Kale in his bed!
Love, Love, Love, Lava! What a fun and relaxing weekend. Can't wait til next year!

So You Think You Can Dance?

My mother, sister, my sister's sister-in-law, Megan, and I all went to the So You Think You Can Dance Concert at the E Center. It was amazing! What a great show!

We saw the top 13 dancers perform all of our favorite dances!

St. George

A few months ago, at a big Calderwood family dinner, (my mom's side of the family), we made a plan to go on a girl's weekend to St. George and watch the plays. For some reason, my grandmother, aunts and mother all went without my sister and I. Rude! Therefore, I made my mom go down again and have a mini girl's weekend with me and my sister! We had a blast! We saw Les Miserables in the beautiful out door theater!

Me and my mom, just before the show! My sister, Kami, and me! Thank Goodness the BIG soda machine in the background did not make it into this picture! Ha ha ha! (Sorry, little inside joke--ask me about it!)

The next day we spent SHOPPING, of course! We had a very fun day filled with shopping the outlets and eating at yummy places! Here I am getting myself beautiful for the day!
My beautiful mother!
Thanks mom and Kami for the fun fun fun weekend! Let's do it again, soon!!

Beauty and the Beast

A few weeks ago, I went to Payson City's production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. My grandmother, mother, sister and nieces, went with me! My friend and her two little girls also came to see the show!

My nieces posing with Belle and Beast. Tori with her sparkly wand that her mom bought for her.
My Grandmother Calderwood and Alyssa admiring her new wand!
My sister also bought her girls these little figures at the show.
We had a great time! The play was very well done! It was fun to hang out with all the girls!

Alyssa & Tori's Birthday Parties

I recently attended my nieces', Alyssa and Tori, birthday parties. Since their birthdays are only 1 day apart, my sister combines both their friend and their family birthday parties. This year their friend party theme was Under The Sea. My sister decorated the inside of her house like an underwater scene. Outside, she set up a whole bunch of fun water games. There were about 22 kids total at the party! Crazy!
My niece, Tori, is describing something about her mouth to me. I am holding my adorable nephew, Kale!
Me and Kale! Basically, I came to the party to watch my nephew, while my sister ran around! Kale and I had a blast together!
My niece, Alyssa, turned 5 years old! She has even started kindergarten! I can not believe that!
Tori turned 3 years old and has started her first year of preschool!
The family party theme was Pinkalicious. That is the title of one of my nieces' favorite books! Conrad and I gave Tori a new baby doll and stroller!
Here is Alyssa holding up the Barbie Mariposa doll that we bought for her!
My sister made pink cupcakes based on the cupcakes in the storybook!
And the big prize was a ....
Barbie Power wheel Jeep! How fun! My sister, Kami, is on the left. My mom and I are observing on the right. The other two cute little girls in this picture are my sister's nieces!
What fun parties!
Happy Birthday, Alyssa & Tori! We love you both!
