Beauty and the Beast

A few weeks ago, I went to Payson City's production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. My grandmother, mother, sister and nieces, went with me! My friend and her two little girls also came to see the show!

My nieces posing with Belle and Beast. Tori with her sparkly wand that her mom bought for her.
My Grandmother Calderwood and Alyssa admiring her new wand!
My sister also bought her girls these little figures at the show.
We had a great time! The play was very well done! It was fun to hang out with all the girls!

Alyssa & Tori's Birthday Parties

I recently attended my nieces', Alyssa and Tori, birthday parties. Since their birthdays are only 1 day apart, my sister combines both their friend and their family birthday parties. This year their friend party theme was Under The Sea. My sister decorated the inside of her house like an underwater scene. Outside, she set up a whole bunch of fun water games. There were about 22 kids total at the party! Crazy!
My niece, Tori, is describing something about her mouth to me. I am holding my adorable nephew, Kale!
Me and Kale! Basically, I came to the party to watch my nephew, while my sister ran around! Kale and I had a blast together!
My niece, Alyssa, turned 5 years old! She has even started kindergarten! I can not believe that!
Tori turned 3 years old and has started her first year of preschool!
The family party theme was Pinkalicious. That is the title of one of my nieces' favorite books! Conrad and I gave Tori a new baby doll and stroller!
Here is Alyssa holding up the Barbie Mariposa doll that we bought for her!
My sister made pink cupcakes based on the cupcakes in the storybook!
And the big prize was a ....
Barbie Power wheel Jeep! How fun! My sister, Kami, is on the left. My mom and I are observing on the right. The other two cute little girls in this picture are my sister's nieces!
What fun parties!
Happy Birthday, Alyssa & Tori! We love you both!

Let's Pretend That Didn't Happen...

A few days ago, I was running late to work. I quickly grabbed my keys, locked the door, and ran to my car. Once I got to my car I realized that I had Conrad's Titan keys instead of mine. I also realized that this set of keys does not have a house key and I had just locked the house. Since I could not go back in to get my car keys, I decided to just take Conrad's Truck. However, there was a little problem-my car was parked behind his truck. I was so late I decided to drive Conrad's truck into the neighbors driveway in order to get out. In my mind, it was all going to work out perfectly. I would drive our huge truck over the little curb that seperated our two driveways. Well, this is what actually happened:

Yep, I got it high centered in-between driveways! I was so upset I had to call work and they had to cancel all of my clients. I could not stop crying. I called my mom and she came and took me to her house to wait until Conrad could come and fix the situation. And he did--he was able to get the truck unstuck and now everything has gone back to normal. So, let's just pretend that didn't happened! :)

Bee's Baseball

What a great way to spend the 4th of July! Baseball, friends and fireworks! I love going to watch the Bees play! We had so much fun! Here are a few shots of us and our friends!

We are just so darn cute!

I hope we make this a tradition to do every year on the 4th! It doesn't get any better than this!

Lake Powell

We just returned from a fun trip in Lake Powell! We go every year with my dad's family. It is so much fun. Here are some pictures from our trip.

This is my brother-in-law, Cody, driving the houseboat and my Uncle Kenneth on the radio!
My nieces, Alyssa and Tori, waiting to get in the water! Just enjoying the ride! (My dad is in the yellow shirt next to me).
This is our houseboat. It is called the "Milkyway". My mom is being pulled on a three-man tube with my nieces.
Conrad about to be thrown off the tube!
After he was thrown off! My mom swimming with my nieces.
My nephew, Kale!
My brother, Kody, and Conrad in our speed boat named the "Green Bean".
My niece Tori, my mom and me! After we get off the houseboat we eat at a restaurant called Anasazi. It is tradition! Here is the WHOLE gang--except for my sister and her husband, they were taking pictures.
Conrad, me, my brother, Kody, and his wife, Rachelle.
Aren't we just so cute!
We had such a fun time! We did miss Kasey, (Mission), and Kory's family (Ali's about to have my new nephew!). Thanks to everyone who came and made it a memorable trip! Can't wait til next year!

Canyoneer Kallie

My brother-in-law, Cody, brought his canyoneering equipment down to Lake Powell. He taught a bunch of us how to rappel. It was my first time and I was very nervous. Conrad was my strong belayer! I knew that he would catch me if I fell!

Here I am showing how tough I am--right before I stepped out on the edge! :)

This where I "broke". That means I was able to let go of the rope and hold myself up. Yes, I did it!
Here I am in the beginning--keep in mind this is my first time and I was nervous. (Sorry that this video is sideways--my sister could not figure out how to turn it--just tilt your head to watch it).

"Thumb in the bum" is the term used to describe where you should hold the rope behind you! :)

I pretty much am an expert now--if you can't tell by the video clips!

Moving In

...to our new place!

Last week we moved from Price to Salem! It was a lot of work, but worth it! My sister, Kami, and her kids, (Alyssa, Tori, and Kale), came and helped me organize and decorate! They were a lot of help! :)
A work in progress!
Resting with my nieces-well at least I am resting!
It is so nice to be closer to both of our families! Thank you to everyone who came and helped in the move! We couldn't have done it without you! :)
